At the Cenotaph parade we mustered in
Whitehall with 25-30 other Lions from around the UK . They were supplied with Lions sashes and wore them with pride.
"Even my mother-in-law spotted me on TV!" said Lion Karl.  At Horseguards, the salute was taken by Prince Andrew in his naval uniform which topped off a most wonderful weekend.

Remembrance Day. Lion President of Forest of Dean Club, David Cooksley writes. "After a 4am start and a long journey from the Forest of Dean on Sunday morning with Lion David Edwards, I was pleased to be able to join with my fellow Lions at London and to share in the honour and privilege of remembering and paying respect to all those who gave their lives for us. The fatigue and cold wait for the parade to start was well rewarded by the immense feeling of pride and gratitude when marching past the cenotaph. Whilst remembering those who fell, my feelings were enhanced by the recognition of the Lions by the thousands of people lining the route, who applauded and cheered us as we marched past them. I have never felt so proud to be a Lion! The day was very humbling, full of mixed feelings of sadness and pride, but overall a very moving experience which I shall always remember. It was also well organised and I commend the Lions who arranged the Lions contingent".
